Grinding Pork and Making Sausage. Here's a great way to save money. I ground my own pork, made sausage and canned the rest as meatballs and patties.
Here's a link to my Quebec Pork Meatball video:
2 tsp. sage
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 pinch ground cloves
2 pound ground pork
In a small bowl combine the sage, salt, pepper, marjoram, brown sugar, pepper flakes and cloves. Mix well. Place the pork in a large bowl and add the spices. Mix well and form into patties. Saute the patties over medium heat for 5 minutes per side, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees. This is a mild breakfast sausage.
